The Bacon Jam Swiss Burger was amazing! My partner had the Box Car sandwich, and it was so good. The fries are seasoned very well, and the special sauce is good.
This is my new go to spot in the area, ate here twice and both times the staff and food were amazing. If you’re looking for a real smash burger be sure to try the classic! The price point is perfect as well. Highly recommend!
We ordered takeout last night from Boxcar Betty’s and were very pleased with the experience. I didn’t wait long at all after ordering a meal for the whole family. When I got home the fries were fresh and tasty, the chicken sandwiches were perfectly cooked and crispy with delicious toppings. The kids meals were also very popular with our kiddos. We will definitely be returning.

This place is great! So glad I happened to read the terrible reviews of the local Chipotle I was about to eat at which then inspired me to find this gem instead. The chicken on the sandwich is perfectly cooked and seasoned. So soft and juicy plus the bacon jam was incredible. Fried green tomatoes with the thousand island type dipping sauce were definitely worth it too! Good thing I don't live in Charleston because this place would be a money pit for me Will definitely come back next time I'm in town though!
Hands down-BEST fries there are! They’re seasoned to absolute perfection and are always served fresh and hot!! That pimento stuffed portobello mushroom sandwich... We also had a smash burger and chicken tenders on our order and everything was loved. Yeah...we went back for a second large order of fries and slammed those, too. Suzanne was so sweet!! She was personable and so friendly!! Hit this place up!!
Our go to spot! You order at the front counter and they bring it to your table. Very low key dining experience, very casual atmosphere. Food is delicious. We prefer their chicken over Chick-fil-A or Canes. And the burger is fantastic!
